Hi Friend! How are you? My name is Megan Pierson and I'm the creator and designer of the Made By Megii brand!

Here's the backstory of me. I was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada & I grew up in a small town just south of the city. I grew up going camping, going to the mountains, playing sports, and spending my time outdoors. As a young adult, I still enjoy all of those things! Which means I look for comfy, cozy, stylish clothing when I'm shopping! I guess that inspired me to create the apparel that I sell online with Made By Megii!

I started this small business in May 2021! Many people have asked me, "What made you decide to start a clothing business?" and honestly, it was just the right timing to take a risk at something I thought I'd enjoy. By trade, I'm a radio announcer, and I finished my last contract in March of 2021. I had no other job to jump to, and I was honestly in limbo of thinking, what CAN I do? I do Social Media Content Creation online which is so fun, but I needed something more to get my creative side working more.

Taking a risk with building a new business from the ground up was super scary.. There's some days I wonder if it will ever pay off, or will I just be that small business that doesn't see decent growth.. Can you tell I worry a lot and that I'm a bit of a perfectionist? I'm so happy I took the leap to create a business that I'm proud of, and one that people can relate to and be inspired by. So if you're still reading this "About Me" story. Thank you.
